Talladega Night Promo

'Tenacious C' aka 'Beef Wellington' has sent me some promos today that his company is working on. It just so happens that the promos are for 'Talladega Nights - The Ballad of Ricky Bobby' starring Will Ferrell, which hits theaters August 4th. Schweeeet! Ferrell, in my opinion, is one of the greatest comedians alive today. Here are the Compelling & Rich exclusives.....

Afghan Fishing

These Afghani guys are actually fishing with an RPG(Rocket Propelled Grenade) at a small lake. Fucking sweet! Sad thing is, it only looks like they bagged a fish or two. Excellent use of resources! Brilliant!

Ron Mueck Artwork

Ron Mueck is a really, really amazing sculptor. His figures are so lifelike that it is kinda creepy. Hope the exhibit comes my way sometime soon.

"In the early 1990s, still in his advertising days, Mueck was commissioned to make something highly realistic, and was wondering what material would do the trick. Latex was the usual, but he wanted something harder, more precise. Luckily, he saw a little architectural decor on the wall of a boutique and inquired as to the nice, pink stuff’s nature. Fiberglass resin was the answer, and Mueck has made it his bronze and marble ever since."

I have to admit that it is really original and really lame at the same time. If I see this on somebody on the street I may have to beat the living shit out of the poor soul wearing it just on general principle. Anyways, this is more artsy, then practical I think. Check it!

One day Jane met Tarzan in the jungle. She was very attracted to him and, during her questions about his life, she asked him how he managed for sex. "What's that?" he asked.

She explained to him what sex was, and he said, "Oh,Tarzan use hole in trunk of tree."

Horrified, she said, "Tarzan you have that all wrong! I will show you how to do it properly." She took off her clothes, lay down on the ground, and spread her legs wide. "Here," she said, pointing, "You must put it in here."

Tarzan removed his loincloth, stepped closer and then gave her an almighty kick in the crotch.

Jane rolled around in agony.
Eventually she managed to gasp, "Why the hell did you do that?"

"Tarzan check for bees!"
