If you were alive in the 80's, chances are you probably dropped a few quarters into an arcade machine or stayed up late to finish that level in a NES game. I know I did. Damn! I remember this guy so well. I watched his show 'The Joy of Painting' quite frequently back in the day. His voice was so tranquil and he talked about 'happy little trees' all the time. It was almost hypnotic. He passed away in '95 of Lymphoma. Haven't seen his show on TV either for awhile. He still has a website though!
